THE STORY/Synopsis
(Dis)connected is a funny and often touching collection of short plays and sketches that explore how modern technology affects all our lives. It invites audiences to reflect on the different ways high technology has seeped into our lives and the very real human issues that it causes. The plays are arranged into a dynamic and snappy sequence giving the feeling of one full-length play.
This play is written by long-term Jakarta residents John Packer and Andrew Trigg for the Jakarta Players Community Theatre group, which has been entertaining Jakarta audiences with English language plays since 1968 and is made up of Indonesian and international members.

By signing up, you indicate that you will be available, or are willing to make the effort to be available, for these dates:
- Production Period: July - September 2025
- Rehearsal Days: Tuesday nights, Thursday nights, and Saturdays beginning 1 July 2025
- Technical Rehearsal Period: 15-18 September 2025
- Show Dates: 19, 20, 21 September 2025

- This opportunity is strictly volunteer-based.
- Our rehearsals will mostly be in the Central Jakarta area.
