The Jakarta Players 2013-2014 season is now underway and we want you to be a part of it! We are kicking off our season with a good old fashioned musical review with songs from all your favorites, including Chicago, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Hairspray, Avenue Q, and many more.
So, whether you are a theater veteran or have no performance experience whatsoever come join us! There is no need to prepare music or a dance routine. We will provide and coach you through a selection of songs and choreography we will use in the show. Don’t let the dancing scare you!! We want to see enthusiastic and energetic performers; lots of coaching will be provided if needed. Since this is a group audition we ask that you please show up as close to the start time as possible and be prepared to stay for the entire audition. We understand Jakarta traffic all too well, but punctuality is very important.
In order to audition you will need to be able to commit to show times and dress and tech rehearsals the week prior to the show. Unfortunately for the good of the show and the cast we cannot make exceptions for missing these dates.
So come out and meet some other theater enthusiasts in Jakarta and sing, dance, and have a great time with us. We are so excited to meet you and put together another fantastic Jakarta Players cast and show!
