"Status: It's Complicated" is one of Jakarta Players's favorite kinds of
performances -- five short, excellent one act plays in every show - each
between 10 and 20 minutes long. As the name suggests, each plays
explores a different aspect of romantic relationships in a fascinating
and entertaining way. Some of the plays are hilarious, some are
touching, and all have something to say!
There are plenty of roles up for grabs in the five short plays, both on stage and off stage. So please come along and audition, or tell us what backstage role you'd like to try!
Auditions will be held at Chand Garden, Kinara restaurant, Jl. Kemang Raya No. 78-B from 13.00 till 17.00 on September 13th, 2014. You do not need to stay for the whole audition period, but we are having a club night right after audition is over. (Chand Garden is on the top floor of KINARA restaurant)
The show itself will run as follows:
Friday 7 November: one evening show
Saturday 8 November: 2 shows -- one matinee and one evening show
Sunday 9 November: 2 shows -- one matinee and one evening show
The location of the shows will be Pavilion Apartment clubhouse, Jl. KH Mas Mansyur Kav 24, Jakarta 10220.
Rehearsals may be held week nights or on weekends -- we will aim to match the schedule to the preferences of each cast.
